Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
EMDR is a therapeutic technique that incorporates bilateral stimulation to help people heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences and traumas. The goal of EMDR is to fully process past experiences and emotions that are attached to those events.
Distressing experiences can shape the negative beliefs we have developed about ourselves. Through EMDR, these negative thoughts, feelings and beliefs become replaced with positive thoughts and feelings that encourage a healthier mindset and lifestyle.
EMDR has been proven to be helpful in treating anxiety, disturbing memories, trauma, PTSD, negative and limiting beliefs and other emotional struggles.
By facilitating the full reprocessing of traumatic memories and disturbing life events, EMDR can help you finally “let go of the past”, move forward with your life and experience true healing.
Both unresolved negative emotions and limiting beliefs can impact every area of your life. Releasing these can greatly improve your life.
I do not fix problem. I fix my thinking. Then the problems fix themselves.” – Louise Hay
