Hi, I’m Kathy Most, owner of Touchstone Therapy & Mindset Coaching. I have been a licensed therapist since 1999 and in private practice since 2002. In 2019 I decided I wanted to add to my skills and became a certified Mindset Coach.
Our thoughts, whether positive or negative, can determine a lot about how we feel and the choices we make, and both of these affect the quality of our lives and relationships. Combining therapy and coaching skills really helps you to gain the insight needed to change along with the tasks and accountability to make those changes.
I do not believe in a one size fits all approach to helping people. Together you and I will decide the best ways to help you feel your best and achieve your goals.
I strive to offer a warm, compassionate, non-judgmental approach combined with accountability. My approach is holistic, looking at how all areas of your life are moving you towards or away from your goals.
Combining many years of experience as a therapist and coaching skills allows us to more efficiently tackle your issues and goals. Issues I frequently treat are emotional eating, anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem and poor coping skills.
I am also a certified yoga instructor. Yoga is very important to me for many reasons. The more I’ve learned about it, the more I see how its philosophy and values parallels my own, both personally and professionally. Yoga helps build self-awareness and the mind-body connection, as does therapy.
In yoga, therapy, and life, it’s important to treat all aspects of yourself with respect, go at your own pace and LISTEN to your mind and body. Another crucial component to yoga, therapy and life is balance.
In addition to my work, I am a wife and mother and an aspiring author (I would love to write a book someday). In my free time, I love to relax with family and friends, exercise, read or be creative with craft projects.
