Self-care is NOT selfish!

I can’t stress that enough. Taking care of yourself should not be a luxury, it is truly a necessity.

To be the best parent, child, friend, employee, etc. you need to care for your needs on all levels. When you aren’t taking care of yourself, you are not able to be there as fully for others. Remember on the airplane, they tell us to put our mask on first before helping others.

Self-care applies to all aspects of ourselves, mentally, emotionally and physically.

This includes, but is not limited to, how we talk to ourselves, how we feed ourselves and care for our physical body, how we cope with our emotions and relationships.

Creating positive daily habits and prioritizing self-care is a critical foundation to creating the life you want. When you feel better on the inside, it will reflect in your external world.

Changing old habits can feel difficult, but step-by-step, you can let go of negative choices that no longer serve you well and replace them with decisions that will guide to you health and happiness.
