What is mindset coaching?

Mindset coaching is traditional coaching techniques combined with a focus on how our minds operate, consciously and unconsciously. Part of becoming a certified mindset coach was certification in Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

NLP techniques help you understand your own mind, why you think and behave the way you do. It helps to understand how you view yourself and your world and to release negative or false beliefs you may have about yourself or life.

I specifically chose a mindset coaching program, versus a general coaching program, because it aligned so well with my approach to therapy. Our mindset, our thoughts and perspective significantly impact and determine our emotions and actions.

Mindset coaching allows us to explore how your mindset is affecting your life and make changes to remove obstacles to achieving your goals and optimal health.

Coaching techniques help a client become very specific about their goals and help to identify the clear steps they need to take. As a therapist and coach, I combine analysis when needed with specific tasks and homework to guide the client toward their goal.
